Sutter County Museum Wins Competitive Grant for Permanent “Black History of Yuba-Sutter Exhibit

(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Sutter County Museum has won a $25,000 competitive grant from California Humanities to research, develop and install a permanent exhibit about Black History in Yuba & Sutter Counties, according to the museum’s director, who tells The Appeal-Democrat they were one of only ten organizations in our state “to receive this funding.”
