(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The City of Yuba City has posted to Facebook that the “iconic water tower has received a long-overdue-facelift!”
The project began last June, to remove rust and the existing paint, get a new paint job, add new downtown city logos and color-changing LED up-lighting. The water tower is the first of a 3-phase Plumas Street improvement project.
Next: reconstructing the area & parking lot beneath the water tower into a community plaza and installing festive lighting to cross above Center Street. Both projects are expected to be completed by this fall.
