(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – A weekend shooting and murder is under investigation in Yuba City.

A YCPD release reports officers were dispatched at around 2:00 in the morning Saturday to reports of shots fired on Northgate Drive & East Onstott Road. When officers arrived at that located, they located a dead woman and a man with multiple gunshot wounds in an apartment, and a dead man in a vehicle nearby.

The deceased 36-year-old man and 34-year-old woman were in a previous dating relationship, according to the release, and the preliminary investigation indicates the dead man in the vehicle committed suicide, while the woman’s death Is being investigated as a homicide.

The injured man is 21-years-old.

No names have been released pending family notification.
