(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Yuba County Sheriff’s office is on the search for a mailbox thief and are enlisting the public’s help to identify a suspect.

An adult male, described as ‘African-American with dreadlocks pulled back into a ponytail’, wearing a hoodie was seen on surveillance video loading packages into a ‘newer model Ford explorer” according to a release. In addition, the release states there is ‘a dealer plate on front and no rear plate.’

The thefts occurred recently in the Olivehurst area. Anyone with information is aked to contact the Yuba County Sheriff’s office at 530-749-7777.
