(YSPD release) — On 4/5/2024 one of our B-Swing Shift officers spotted a car he knew was associated with 33 year old Kristen Young, in the area of Chestnut Street and Fremont Way at an apartment complex. The officer knew Young had 3 outstanding felony warrants out of Sutter County and that she was on PRCS (Post Release Community Supervision).

The officer stopped to see if Young was in the car and saw her walking away from the area. Young was stopped by the officer and arrested on her outstanding warrants. A search of the car Young was associated with found methamphetamine and fentanyl packaged for sale, along with scales, drug paraphernalia, cash and metal knuckles.

Through the officers’s investigation, it was determined Young was involved in drug sales.

Young was booked into the Sutter County Jail on her 3 warrants, possession of fentanyl for sale, possession of methamphetamine for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of metal knuckles.
