(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – Congratulations and best of luck to the Sutter County spellers who have now advanced to state, after a recent spelling bee hosted by the Sutter County Superintendent of Schools.

Fifty-one 4th, 5th & 6th graders along with twenty-nine 7th & 8th graders from fifteen schools in the Middle School Division.

Mia Magallon on Butte Vista School in Yuba City won the Middle School Division and Eshaan Trehan, also of Butte Vista school won the Elementary School Division.

The State Bee is April 27th in Stockton.
