(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – It was announced yesterday that the Sutter Butte Flood Control Agency and DWR have signed an agreement to complete “critical repairs” on four sections of the Sutter Bypass east levee, which is owned and maintained by the state. Official say when “official work” is finished “the flood risk for properties south of Yuba city will significantly decrease.”

DWR’s Division of Flood Management Deputy Director said they have “allocated up to $4-million to this project and look forward to working with SBFCA.”

Work is scheduled to begin in 2025….
