(Sierra Mountains, CA) – Although results of the April 1st, end-of-season Sierra snowpack survey won’t be released until later today, last Friday’s measurements show it was at 104% of average. As well, that was prior to the Tahoe area getting an additional foot of snow over the weekend.

Meanwhile, California’s largest reservoirs were at a combined 116% of their end-of-March average, with the largest, Shasta, at 91% capacity and the second largest overall, Oroville, at 87%.
