(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – A release from the Yuba County Sheriff’s office reports that after nearly a full year of investigation into the murder of 27-year-old Amery Sweany of Chico, an arrest has been made. 39-year-old Ricky Lasher was arrested Wednesday night in the 1400 block of Jamie Drive in Yuba City.

Sweany was found dead on April 27th of lat year in an orchard in the 1700 block of Simpson Lane.
