(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Yuba City Police Department reports the arrest of a juvenile and the seizure of a sizable amount of cocaine, fake Xanax pills, a firearm & ammunition.

It began with an attempted traffic enforcement stop at around 11:00 Sunday night at Walton Avenue and Sunsweet Boulevard. The driver sped off south on walton until losing control at Bogue Road and getting stuck in the mud. The juvenile driver was arrested, while a passenger successfully fled on foot.

YCPD report finding ¾ of an ounce of cocaine in the vehicle, along with 63 counterfeit Xanax pills, over 4 ounces of marijuana, a digital scale and $1,086 in cash.

Additionally, K-9 Rip located a loaded handgun in a nearby orchard while searching for the escaped passenger.
