(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – A decision has been made regarding potential safety improvements at HWY 99 & Oswald Road, south of Yuba City: Officials report they will signalize the intersection, including new right & left turn lanes, with space for deceleration along with pedestrian and bike lanes.

Other options had included a roundabout and even a bypass.
Signalization was the middle option in terms of cost, at $9-million-100-thousand—dollars. Caltrans will pick up $7-million-600-thousand-dollars of that tab, with Sutter County covering the rest,
