(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The election night results reported on KUBA yesterday are unchanged with all precincts in our listening area having reported and tallied. However, with mail-in, drop-box, provisional and damaged ballots still to be counted, there are a number of local races still too close to call.

The Yuba County District 2 supervisor race has challenger Renick House leading incumbent Don Blaser by just 21 votes, or, just 2.08%

Also in Yuba County, for Yuba Water Agency Director North, incumbent Charlie Mathews has 46.95% of the votes, to Randy Fletcher’s 34.51% and Don Schrader’s 18.54%.

In a three candidate race, unless the leader’s vote total is at least 50%-plus one, a November runoff of the top 2 will be held. That is currently the case in Sutter County District 5 Supervisor race with challenger Jeff Stephens at 49.74%, incumbent Mat Conant at 27.82% and challenger Sarb Thiara at 22.45%.
