(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Executive Director of the Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce announced Friday that she is leaving that position, due to her family moving out of state. Kristen Perry has been with the organization since 2008 and took over the role as the Chamber’s Director after Marni Sanders resigned in March for a position with Blue Zones Project Yuba-Sutter.
The Appeal-Democrat reports in leaving that position, Perry said “This opportunity to serve as Executive Director of this incredible community has been an absolute privilege and I am grateful for my time working with and for each and every one of you,” Perry said in a social media post. “Your support, guidance and understanding during this journey is the driving force behind so many accomplishments. This community, our businesses, our members, is what makes the Chamber. You are the heart of Yuba-Sutter.”
Her final day on the job will be September. Anyone interested in the executive director position can submit a resume to: kearby12@gmail.com. And to find out more, go to: www.yubasutterchamber.com
