(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – On the heels of being reelected for a 2nd four year term, Yuba County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Francisco Reveles announced yesterday his intention to retire. It becomes effective the last day of nest month.
He was appointed to the position seven years ago, won it in an election two years later, and was reelected last year. Reveles has appointed his assistant, Bobbi Abold to take over pending a permanent replacement by the Yuba County Board of Education.
Reveles’s plans going forward include teaching “a number of university courses, writing motivational books for young students as well as a film and educational magazine project” according to The Appeal-Democrat.
