(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Yuba County Office of Education’s task force is ready to officially launch an awareness campaign that was formed at the beginning of the year, in a partnership with the County Health Department and a $100,000 grant. That will enable the purchase of bus ads, billboards and in-person presentations at individual school sites.

The task force has also secured 800 Narcan doses containing naloxone, which is known to reverse the effects of a fatal opioid overdose. It has now been distributed to staff throughout the district according to The Appeal-Democrat.
