(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – February’s regional new home sales report from the North State Building Industry Association again shows impressive Yuba County numbers, almost double January’s numbers at 35 new home sales.

In the six county region, which also includes Sutter, Sacramento, Placer, Nevada, El Dorado and Amador, new home sales reached a total of 618, a 41% increase from January, but down 14% from February of last year.

Sutter County saw five new homes sell last month, however, development is severely hampered due to federal flood plain designations prohibiting new building.
