(YCPD release) — The Yuba City Police Department, our partner agencies and our community prepare throughout the year leading up to the Annual Nagar Kirtan in Yuba City, commonly referred to as the Sikh Parade. This year’s festivities will take place from Friday, November 1, 2024, to Sunday, November 3, 2024. Together with local, state, and federal law enforcement, we are dedicated to ensuring the safety of our community during this event.

We are aware of potential threats that can emerge each year with the increased attention surrounding the parade. We are committed to working closely with our partners to maintain a safe environment for everyone. We encourage the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement.
