(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Yuba City Council has given its approval to a development plan for Merriment Village, the proposed 217 unit affordable housing project to be buitl at 428 North Walton Avenue.

Habitat for Humanity has applied for a so-called “Homekey 3.0” state grant, however, according to The Appeal-Democrat, the total Homekey 3.0 fund contains $37-million for the Sacramento region, and the projected cost of Merriment Village is $75-million, so Habitat is proposing building in phases, beginning with a four-story 79 unit structure.
