(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Yuba City Council has approved a measure allowing the City Manager to continue to work with Habitat for Humanity / Yuba-Sutter, proceeding forward with the first phase of their proposed Merriment Village Apartments affordable housing project. It would be located in the 400 block of North Walton Avenue.

Phase 1 is a four story, 79 unit complex of 2 bed, 1 bath apartments, according to The Appeal-Democrat.

The council also approved a development for waiver and an allocation of $155,000 per year of State Permanent Housing funds “toward the annual operation of the project.”
