(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – A joint investigation by the Yuba City Police Department, Yuba-Sutter’s Narcotics Gang Task Force NET-5 and the U.S. Postal Service, which began several months ago, has resulted with 44-year-old Justin Cannon being charged. A search warrant was served at his River Oaks Drive residence, where investigators uncovered what is described in a press release as “a sophisticated counterfeit operation.”

Cannon, “and other co-conspirators” were gathering personal financial information and using counterfeit checks and IDs to fraudulently obtain cash. Agents seized counterfeit IDs & checks, the personal identifying information of ten victims, printers and laminating machines. Additionally, a firearm, ammunition, meth and burglary tools were seized.

40-year-old, Brandy Skutley and 42-year-old, Adam Duncan were also arrested.
