(Vacaville, CA) — A woman accused of crashing into and killing a Vacaville police officer while he was conducting a traffic stop could be facing a murder charge. The Solano County District Attorney’s Office has filed a felony complaint, saying the 24-year-old intentionally hit officer Matthew Bowen with her vehicle last week.
District Attorney Krishna Abrams has not announced a possible motive.
The suspect appeared in court for her arraignment on Monday afternoon. She was given a public defender.
