(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Sutter County Sheriff’s office is seeking the public’s assistance in tracking down a catalytic converter thief who was caught in the act, in the parking lot of Victory Chapel Church in Live Oak, on HWY 99, late Sunday morning at around 11:00.

The suspect is described as caucasian, short, approximately 5 feet, 4 inches, early 30s, wearing a black hat & white t-shirt, last seen fleeing in an older model green Mustang.

He left the catalytic converter behind.
