(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – Caltrans is providing an update on projections for at least a one-lane reopening of HWY 70, from Jarbo Gap to the Greenville Wye, which has been closed more that open over the last several years due to rock slides.
Crews actually had it ready to open this past Monday, but another storm over the weekend brought down more slide material, prompting continued clean-up efforts this week.
A Caltrans spokesperson tells Action News that they’re now on track to have it open to one-way traffic this Sunday morning.
