(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – As of 2:00 this morning, the Department of Water Resources was reporting releases out of Lake Oroville at 15,819 cubic feet per second, with inflow at around 65,000 cfs. The water level is just over 852 feet – around 80% of capacity – less than 50 feet to the top. DWR is indicating they’ll be increasing releases to 20,000 cfs by noon today.

The Feather River at Yuba City if forecast to rise to around 51 feet by late this morning, around 12 feet below monitor stage and 28 feet below flood stage.

The Yuba River at Marysville is forecast to rise to just over 75 feet early this morning, a foot and a half above monitor stage – but still 11 feet below flood stage.

The Sacramento River at Colusa is forecast to rise near 66.1 feet by late this evening, 3.8 feet below flood stage.
