(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – as of 3:00 this morning, The Department of Water Resources reported releases out of Lake Oroville at 21,353 cubic feet per second, with inflow about 30,000 cfs more that that, at 50,377 cfs. The lake level is at 858 feet, 41 feet below the top, at around 85% of capacity.
The Feather River at Yuba City receded to 51 feet late last evening, 13 feet below monitor stage and just over 28 feet below flood stage. The river is forecast to fluctuate near 51 feet through this afternoon.
The Yuba River at Marysville is forecast to recede to just over 70 feet by this afternoon, 3-1/2 feet below monitor stage and just over 16 feet below flood stage.
The Sacramento River at Colusa is forecast to rise to just over 66 feet by noon today, 3-1/2 feet above monitor stage, but still 3-1/2 feet below flood stage. It should then recede to 65.1 feet by tomorrow at noon.
