(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – NET-5 reports a joint operation with the Yuba County Sheriff’s office resulting in two people being charged and a large seizure of fentanyl and meth in Olivehurst.
A search warrant was served at 1893 Chapman Avenue, where 73-year-old Ralph Blankenship was arrested on several drug charges and for being a felon in possession of a firearm. As well, according to a press release, “authorities seized over 3,200 counterfeit Oxycodone pills containing Fentanyl, 334 grams of methamphetamine, drug packing materials, ten firearms, over 680 rounds of ammunition, and other paraphernalia.”
A search warrant was also served at 5260 Feather River Boulevard in Olivehurst. As a result, a release states that “50-year-old John West Jr. was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale with authorities seizing over 177 grams of methamphetamine, a digital scale, and over $8,800,00 in cash.”
The release goes on to state “The collaboration between NET-5 and the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department exemplifies the ongoing commitment of local law enforcement to proactively address illicit drug activities in our communities.”
