(Sacramento, CA) — Sacramento is avoiding the major impacts from Tropical Storm Hilary. Early this morning, the center of the storm was moving through central Nevada. The outer bands of the system are bringing some light rain to Sacramento and the surrounding region.

Hilary, which brought heavy rain to Southern California, will likely weaken to a tropical depression today. It could bring rain to areas as far north as Idaho.
