(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – CHP Yuba-Sutter reports a triple-fatal, two vehicle collision at around 11:30 Saturday morning. The accident occurred on HWY 99 just north of HWY 113.

A 20-year-old Oroville man with four passengers, in a 2015 Dodge Challenger was driving south, crossed over into the northbound lanes and collided head-on with a 2010 Nissan Sentra, killing both the driver, a 48-year-old Yuba City man and his passenger, a 42-year-old man, also of Yuba City.

The 20-year-old Oroville driver of the Challenger, who was not wearing a seat-belt, was also killed.

His passengers included a 16-year-old Oroville boy, two 18-year-old Gridley males and a 21-year-old woman from Rough and Ready. All sustained injuries ranging from major to minor.

No names have been released and drugs and/or alcohol are considered factors in this collision.
