(Sacramento, CA) — Governor Gavin Newsom kicked off his four-day California trip Thursday in Sacramento. He announced there will be one-billion-dollars in funding available for local communities to address homelessness.
He’s also sending 12-hundred new tiny homes that will be distributed to Sacramento, San Jose, Los Angeles, and San Diego.
Newsom embarked on this state trip instead of making a State of the State address to the legislature.
