(NorCal, CA) — Thousands of Northern California residents remain without power following the recent winter storms.

As of late Monday night, Nevada County had the most outages of any county with more than 84-hundred utility customers in the dark. Placer County has more than 36-hundred outages, El Dorado County has more than 16-hundred, and Butte County has nearly 12-hundred.

Crews have been working to make repairs, weather permitting. Some mountain communities with power outages also aren’t accessible because of road closures.
