(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – In Yuba County Court yesterday, 19-year-old Gabriel Aguayo of Linda pled not guilty to the murder of a 13-year-old boy July 6th. Aguayo will continue to be held without bail until his next appearance, scheduled for April 16th.

Deputies responded at around 11:30 last Thursday night to a reported shooting at the Shasta Glen Apartments in Marysville, where the 13-year-old was located with a gunshot wound. Life saving measures were unsuccessful.

Aguayo was arrested at his residence on Gossett Way a few hours later.
