(yuba-Sutter, CA) — Some help for homeless families in Yuba-Sutter is on the way, as yesterday The Salvation Army announced Sutter Health is investing $100,000 “for a playground and park at Hope Vista, a neighborhood in Olivehurst that provides temporary housing for families experiencing homelessness” according to The Appeal-Democrat.
Hope Vista provides those with children a ‘short term stay,’ providing families with housing, including eight, two-bedroom homes. Official tell the paper, ‘once completed, the entire Hope Vista complex will include Hope Vista, Hope Vista 2 (a future project offering bridge housing to persons experiencing homelessness), Hope Vista Community Garden, and Hope Vista Park.’
