(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Sutter County Board of Supervisors has voted to form a committee to study the possibility of forming a partnership with Yuba City to work together to get a tax increase measure passed on the November 2024 ballot.
Sutter County’s tax increase ballot measure in last November’s election failed.
Yuba City Council members have discussed publicly including the county in their current tax increase proposal, according to The Appeal-Democrat, and recently approved an up to $175,000 agreement with Smart Marketing for a ‘public information campaign” in order to get the tax increase approved.
