(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Sutter County Sheriff’s Office has issued a release informing the public they will be conducting DUI patrols tomorrow, “during the evening hours.”

SCSO would like to remind drivers that impaired driving is not “just from alcohol.” Some prescription medications and even over-the-counter drugs “may interfere with driving.” And although marijuana is legal – driving under the influence of it, is not.

The SCSO release adds that the total costs for a first-time DUI charge averages around $13,500 in fines and penalties, as well as a suspended license.
