(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – A Sutter County resident – on probation – has been arrested for threatening to kill a Yuba County inmate. A release from the Yuba County Sheriff’s office reports that of 55 messages sent to the inmate, there were 12 death threats sent from the same person.

The threats were discovered a during routine review of incoming electronic messages sent to inmate’s tablets.

The suspect was arrested and charged with a felony for criminal threats and remains in custody, however, a name has not been provided at this time.
