(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – A suspected Yuba County Jail inmate suicide is under investigation. 39-year-old Patricia Mobley of Oroville was found unresponsive in her cell late Saturday night, July 8th. Jail and medical staff administered CPR until paramedics arrived, and she was then transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Four days later, hospital officials pronounced Mobley deceased.

She had been booked on the 3rd for drug possession and outstanding warrants out of Butte County.

A coroner’s investigation is underway with an official cause of death pending that investigation.
