(Rancho Cordova, CA) — A man accused of threatening a group of Muslim families at a park in Rancho Cordova is behind bars. The 33-year-old from Orangevale turned himself in on Monday, less than a day after the incident at Heron Landing Park.
Police say he drove through the park and tried to run the families over as they were holding a celebration. And, he was allegedly yelling racial slurs at the victims, plus threatening to shoot and bomb them. No one was injured.
