(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Yuba City Police Department reports officers responded to Twin Rivers Charter School on Live Oak Boulevard yesterday after staff called requesting assistance with a possible weapon being brought onto campus.

Officers worked quickly with school staff and did locate a firearm on a student.

A media release says there were no direct threats made to students or staff and that no one was injured. The investigation is ongoing.
