(Undated) – Aram Leighton of “Just Baseball Media” is reporting the Giants have signed Yuba City’s Max Stassi to a minor league deal, noting the veteran could provide the much needed depth behind the plate they sorely could have used last season.

Max has not played a full season since 2021, missing much of 2022 while still with the Angels, to be with his wife and son Jackson, who was born three months premature. The child has now reportedly grown into a healthy, happy toddler.

Then last season, Max signed with the woeful White Sox, but was unable to play at all due to his own injury issues.
