(Placer County, CA) — A Placer County deputy accused of rape is facing more charges after another alleged victim came forward. Two more charges were added to Wes Montz for rape against an intoxicated person on Wednesday during a court hearing. He is facing a total of 16 criminal charges.

Placer County Sheriff’s Office say the first two victims were dating Montz, and it’s unknown if Montz was dating the third victim. Sheriff’s department officials say the accused deputy is no longer working at the department.
