(Davis, CA) — A shelter in place order is in effect after reports of a third stabbing in less than a week in Davis.
An alert to shelter in place was issued at about 12:30 this morning after a stabbing that happened in the area of Second and L Streets. The suspect was last seen running westbound on Third Street. The condition of the victim is not clear.
Last Thursday, a 50-year-old man was stabbed to death in Davis’ Central Park. On Saturday night, a 20-year-old man, who was a U.C. Davis student, was stabbed to death in the city’s Sycamore Park. No arrests have been made.
