(Butte County, CA) – In Butte County Court yesterday, at what was supposed to be the sentencing for Michelle Solis, convicted of having sex with one of her middle school students, the judge granted a delay until the 27th of this month. That came at the request of Solis’s attorney, “due to her having a psychology appointment” according to Action News.
The judge yesterday did modify her restraining order, staying at least 150 yards away from the victim, to 150 yards from all minors except for her own children. Little league parents had expressed concerns that she was attending games.
The Gridley middle school teacher was arrested last November and ultimately pled no contest this April. She faces up to four years in state prison.
