(Paradise, CA) – A search by Paradise Police of a theft suspect’s residence has resulted in over a dozen additional charges after investigators discovered a massive stash of ammunition, gun parts and explosives.
David Elkinton’s property was being searched specifically for stolen PG&E equipment when officers came upon a stash of 32,000 rounds of ammunition, 1400 gun parts, 60 firearms including automatics, 25 lbs. of explosive material and a pipe bomb.
Additionally, Action News reports some of the stolen PG&E items were recovered, but rolls of copper wire and “a few generators” remain missing.
