(Yuba County, CA) – The Sacramento County Sheriff is publicly thanking the Yuba County Sheriff’s office, “for all if their assistance” in tracking the suspect who reportedly shot an a CHP officer.

According to a press release, the shooting occurred in South Sacramento last Wednesday, during which 41-year-old Manuel Martinez was tracked into Yuba County, then, “ultimately taken into custody in a vehicle stop in Coalinga.”

Martinez is facing an attempted murder charge.
