(Sacramento County, CA) — Ahead of the November election, Sacramento County received 151-thousand ballots, but a group continues to cast doubt on the voting system, raising unfounded claims about software manipulation, identity theft, and the 2020 election results.

Despite these concerns, officials assure the public that the voting system is secure and not connected to the internet. The county is offering tours of the election department to boost voter confidence.

Supervisor Phil Serna has requested additional security for Election Day to ensure safety.
