(Rio Oso, CA) – The Sutter County Sheriff’s office reports an arrest in the Coon Creek Gun Club invasion in Rio Oso at around 6:00 on the morning of the 11th.
A SCSO release reports several armed suspects invaded the property, looking for money, hitting one victim in the head with a handgun and zip-tying another to a bed frame. The pistol-whipping victim was hospitalized, while the zip-tying victim was unharmed.
The investigation led to the identification of Jefferey Nelson of Rio Linda. A search warrant was served at his residence and he was arrested. The other suspects are being sought.
