(Sacramento, CA) — The Yuba-Sutter & Sacramento areas will see light rain midweek, but the showers won’t last long, according to the National Weather Service. Mild temperatures and brief showers are forecast, with little rainfall expected.
After the rain, gusty winds and low humidity will increase wildfire risk. A fire weather watch has been issued for the Sacramento Valley and Delta from Thursday through Saturday. Winds up to 50 miles-per-hour and low humidity levels could spark and intensify wildfires, prompting officials to advise against outdoor burning.
