(Plumas County, CA) – A Plumas County Sheriff’s office dispatcher has been arraigned on two felony counts of embezzlement and one count of alteration of books.

39-year-old Cassandra Beth Lavley of Quincy is accused of embezzling $20,000 over the last two years while she was Secretary / Treasurer of the Plumas County Sheriff’s Employee’s Association, from both its general account and its “Needy Kids” fund.
