(Yolo County, CA) — Today, P-G-and-E is considering public safety power shutoffs that would impact more than 42-hundred customers in eight Northern California counties. The power shutoffs would impact people in Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Lake, Napa, Shasta, Tehama and Yolo Counties.
Two tribal communities, the Grindstone Rancheria and Pit River Tribes, may also be impacted.
It comes with wildfire conditions in the forecast, including gusty winds and low humidity, that are expected to last through Thursday morning. The public safety power shutoffs, if ordered, would start by six p.m.
