(Chico, CA) — Cal Fire downgraded the size of the Park Fire on Wednesday, as the containment level continues to rise. Officials say the blaze had controlled roughly 422-thousand-950 acres by Wednesday evening, which is down from 425-thousand-725 acres earlier in the day. Containment currently sits at 34-percent.

Evacuation updates remain dynamic as some warnings have been upgraded and repopulation is occurring in certain areas.
